“一带一路”背景下大学生跨文化交流能力的培养

Abstract:In Sep. and Oct. 2013，General Secretary Xi Jinping successively proposed a great initiative of building a “Silk Road Economic Belt” and “The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road”. “Belt and Road Initiative” is the “new idea” of global governance，which is based on Chinese development in “ancient Silk Road”，facing the complicated and changeable international situation. Good state-to-state relations are based upon friendly feelings between the people while understanding each other is the basis for such kind of feelings，the key to realizing the empathy among different peoples is to strengthen the communication among different cultures. As the cultural ambassadors that transmit Chinese culture and Chinese voice，college students’ intercultural communication competence determines the success or failure of the realization of empathy among different peoples to a great extent. Colleges and universities as the main position of cultivating students’ intercultural communication competence should stand ready to capture education new hot spot，create a new atmosphere for cross-cultural communication and cultivate new curriculum on fostering intercultural communication competence，so as to provide strong talents support for “The Belt and Road”.
