Abstract:The Organization for the Harmonisation of Commercial Law in Africa （OHADA） has played an important role in regional integration in Africa，promoting regional investment and improving the economies of its member states.OHADA operates within its unique institutional framework，with institutions such as the Conference of Heads of State and Government，the Council of Ministers，the Permanent Secretariat，the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration.Playing a crucial role in the harmonisation of business law in Africa.In addition，OHADA has adopted many uniform acts and regulations，which provide legal security and predictability for the commercial activities of foreign investors in Africa，including Chinese investors.The development of OHADA has provided beneficial enlightenment for China's investment to relevant African countries.In the context of the “Belt and Road” initiative and AfCFTA，China's investment in Africa should further strengthen cooperation with OHADA，give full play to its open functions such as legislative consultation and dispute settlement，and make full use of its rule system to protect China's rights and interests in Africa.
