Abstract:In recent years，digital technologies represented by artificial intelligence，blockchain，cloud computing，and big data have developed rapidly. Human society has gradually transformed from the industrial economy era to the digital economy era. Data will become an significant means of production in the digital economy era，and a renewable “petroleum” resources that enterprises could rely on for future survival and development. If artificial intelligence is the advanced productivity in the digital economy era，blockchain technology will realize the right confirmation of data and the flow of data value. Blockchain has become the key technology for constructing new production relations in the digital economy era. Companies such as Alibaba，Tencent，and Huawei have made great efforts in digital technology. Traditional physical enterprises represented by the petrochemical industry are facing competition in the domestic market and urgently need to upgrade their industries. Digital technology will help oil companies to realize the transformation of new digital intelligent manufacturing and promote the high-quality development of oil companies. At present，either from the global or domestic perspective，many oil companies have been trying to apply blockchain technology and carrying out relevant experiments in multiple scenarios in upstream，midstream and downstream.
