Abstract:The African Union Commission is the permanent executive body of the African Union，which plays an important role in the formulation of the agenda and strategic plan of the African Union，the preparations for the relevant meetings of the African Union summit，the Executive Council，the Peace and Security Council and the subordinate bodies of the African Union，the implementation of resolutions and action plans of the African Union and the allocation of resources. The general election of the African Union Commission often leads to diplomatic wrangling between African countries and between national plates. Starting with the process and results of the previous elections of the African Union Commission，this paper focuses on the relationship of cooperation and competition between Francophone and Anglophone countries in the election of the African Union Committee. On this basis，it attempts to analyze and summarize the factors that affect the position of African countries in the election of the African Union Commission.
