2019年非洲法语地区社会发展形势

Abstract:The social development of Francophone African countries mainly shows three major characteristics and trends：first，the population is growing rapidly and the problem of population structure is prominent. Population growth in these countries is mainly related to high fertility rates，resulting in a young age structure characterized by a low median age，as well as an unfair gender structure. The adjustment of gender，education and employment structure is related to the optimization of population structure and population dividend. Second，economic growth continues to rise and the social structure continues to deteriorate. The sustained economic growth in these countries is not the result of employment growth and production development and has failed to address unemployment and poverty. Only by adjusting the socio-economic structure and social hierarchical structure can we create jobs，invigorate the economy，and achieve sustainable development. Third，social equity and medical and health undertakings still need to be strengthened.
