从反国际公约看马来西亚种族政治

Abstract:Pakatan Harapan made a promise during the election campaign that the Convention on the International Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination（ICERD）will be signed if it wins the election. However，from September to November 2018，the Pakatan Harapan government decided not to sign the convention after ruling the country，which vividly reflects the complexity and long-term nature of ethnic politics in Malaysia. Under the strong pressure，the new government of Malaysia tried to eliminate racial politics. But，the identity politics is deeply rooted and there is still a long way to go before it is completely changed.
