Abstract:With the continuous development of Sino-Hungarian relations in recent years，four Confucius institutes have been founded in Hungary in cooperation with Hungarian universities since 2006，namely，Confucius Institute at Eötvös Loránd University，Confucius Institute at the University of Miskolc，Confucius Institute at the University of Szeged，and Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Pecs.As President Xi Jinping has highly commented，Confucius institutes are playing the important window-and-bridge role for language and cultural exchange between China and foreign countries.The Confucius institutes in Hungary have greatly promoted cultural exchanges between China and Hungary，deepened the friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples，and successfully built a bridge between the hearts of the two countries.
