成都国家中心城市建设进展成就与展望

Abstract:2018 witnessed the full implementation of various actions for economic and social development in Chengdu. Positioned as “five centers and one hub” in central city construction，Chengdu steadily promoted the national central city construction and made new breakthroughs in enhancing urban vitality，promoting the development of new economy，and improving the business environment and the ecological environment，which were all highlighted characteristics of Chengdu over the development process. However，Chengdu is still hindered by weak economic strength，poor radiating role as a “main trunk” city，insufficient supply factors for innovation，huge traffic congestion pressure，and unbalanced sharing of development benefits in its national central city construction. In the future，Chengdu should focus on improving its economic strength，promoting regional integration development，increasing investments in innovation factors，rationally planning the urban transportation system，and enhancing people’s sense of well-being.
