中马“一带一路”合作：成就与挑战

Abstract:Since the “Belt and Road” initiative was proposed in 2013，the cooperation between China and Malaysia has experienced four stages：hard-start，start-docking，steady-cooperation with blemish and recent-adjustment. In the past five years，Sino-Malaysia’s cooperation in “five connectivity” have achieved remarkable results，and always ahead of other countries whether in the ASEAN or the world. However，After “the 14th General Assembly of Malaysia” which was held in May 2018，the cooperation between the two countries appear some new difficulties and challenges. Mainly manifested by the new government stopped and reviewed a number of Chinese-funded projects，the change of domestic and foreign policy，and uncertainties in the future direction of domestic political development，these new challenges will bring uncertainty to the cooperation between the two countries in future. Therefore，the Chinese and Malaysian governments should carefully research and pragmatically deal with it，for avoiding the damage of the overall cooperation and the comprehensive strategic partnership due to various differences or misjudgments.
