Abstract:South Asia is an important region along the Belt and Road.The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor are significant components of the Belt and Road.At present，these key projects and the bilateral cooperation between China and the South Asian countries has all achieved some progress and meanwhile encountered some challenges，such as the influence of India，political instability of host countries and poor business environment.But in general，the Belt and Road Initiative is highly congruent with the development strategies of the South Asian countries，is able to meet the practical needs of local developments and is widely embraced in this region and thus there is great potential for further development and cooperation.
