Abstract:As an important neighboring country of the five Central Asian countries，Iran has close historical origins with other countries in religion，culture，language and nationality，and is one of the first countries to recognize the independence of the five Central Asian countries and establish formal diplomatic relations. In recent years，Iran and the five Central Asian countries have maintained relatively stable exchanges in the fields of economy，trade，energy and cross-border transport under the background of complex and changeable regional and international situations. In 2017，Iran's relations with the five Central Asian countries steadily moved forward and showed a new trend of development.
