2017年叙利亚经济形势

Abstract:The Syria economic model transforms from the pluralistic liberal marketing economy in the 1940s and 1950s，planned economy in the 1960s，nation-owned companies dominated from 1970s to 1990s under Hafez al-Assad to marketing economy and limited liberal economy under the Bashar Assad after 2000s. After the Syria crisis erupted in 2011，Syria economy has been destroyed by civil war. Generally speaking，Syria economy is still transforming from planned economy to liberal marketing economy. The economic transformation has led to political and social corruption，the development gap between private companies and nation-owned departments and companies，high poverty rate，and public dissatisfaction. After 2017 Syria economy started to gradually recover with the development of its industrial，agricultural and exporting sectors.
