Abstract:Private manufacturing industry plays the dominant role in Guangzhou's economic innovation development. However， the private manufacturing industry， which is oriented on small and medium-sized enterprises， still faces many problems in innovation input and competitive development. To achieve the sustainable innovation-driven development of private manufacturing industry， the first step is to solve the problems in thinking， concepts and impetus mechanism for innovation drive. The first task lies in insisting on the concept of nationwide innovation and set up an impetus guarantee mechanism for nationwide innovations to achieve the new situation of mass innovation.
