Abstract:This chapter builds indicators from six aspects：innovation capability，globalization，greening，digitalization，networking and intellectualization，and analyzes the development status and regional differences. The new economy in the eastern region is higher than the Central，Western and Northeastern regions，and is higher than the national average. The eastern region’s innovation capability index is at a relatively high level，which is an important reason for stimulating the new economic index in the eastern region，followed by networking and digitalization，followed by green and globalization，and finally intellectualization. From the eastern region，the eastern region’s new economic index is more than 40 of the provinces and cities are Guangdong，Beijing，Jiangsu，Zhejiang and Shanghai，and the second is higher than 30 of Shandong，Fujian and Tianjin. However，the innovation index of Hainan and Hebei is at a low position.
