Abstract:The national independent innovation demonstration zone of the pearl river delta is the carrier of the innovation center of national science and technology industry for Guangdong. It is of great significance for Guangdong to carry out the “four sticks，three supports and two leads”. This paper is based on the connotation and requirements of national science and technology industry innovation center. From the aspects of technology industrialization ability，regional innovation system and enterprise innovation ability，this paper analyzes the innovation and development status of the national independent innovation demonstration zone in the Pearl River Delta. From the aspects of innovation integration，industrial innovation ability and industrial cluster，this paper analyzes the main challenges facing the construction of national independent innovation demonstration zone in the Pearl River Delta. Finally，based on the development localization of national science and technology industry innovation center，some Suggestions are put forward to promote the innovation and development of the independent innovation demonstration zone in the Pearl River Delta in terms of institutional mechanism，innovation network and industrial cluster.
