Abstract:Grand Prix is one of the most influential annual grand events in Macau. Whether the local residents get happier or not from this event，are believed to affect their supporting attitude. Based on positive psychology，this article employs the theory of subjective wellbeing and explores some antecedents that can affect the subjective well-being（SWB）of residents，which are Community Benefit，Cultural Education Benefit，Quality of Life and Community Resource. Drawing on 419 effective questionnaires via convenience sampling，their relationships between residents’ SWB and supporting attitude are then empirically validated in the context of the 64th Grand Prix Macau in the year of 2017. The results show that the top one factor which effects residents’ SWB is Community Benefits，followed by Cultural Education Benefit. Although Quality of Life and Community Resource have negative influence on Affective well-being，but few influence on total SWB，particularly Cognitive well-being. The result confirms the relative maturity and tolerance of Macau residents in current tourism development. Some suggestions are also put forward to balance the relationships among different stakeholders and develop the SWB of Macanese Residents.
