“环保酒店奖”的评选、效应与趋势

Abstract:In the context of the development of China’s economy，the promotion of a green，low-carbon，and emission-reducing life style is becoming more and more important. Proportion of hotel industry within the overall economic industrial structure in Macau has increased from 1.7% in 2007 to 4% in 2016. Accordingly，the practical planning to green revolution in Macau’s hotel industry is an important step to shape the green climate. In this article，we reviewed the currents status of the implementation of the green policies in Macau’s hotel industry，the results show that the green climate in Macau is already shaped；majority of hotels implement green practices，however the performance differs. Then we propose some strategies for the green development policies. Firstly，strengthen the government’s environmental protection dominance；secondly，introduce or implement the environment-friendly hotel industry business model to form an industrial eco-environment；and thirdly，optimize the company’s product spirit and create Green product culture；finally，guide visitors to green consumption，improve the quality of product experience.
