维护上海合作组织成员国良性关系的法律保障——纪念《上海合作组织长期睦邻友好合作条约》签订10周年

Abstract:This year is the signing of the treaty of the long-term good neighborly and friendly cooperation of the SCO 10th anniversary，also the signing of the implementation of the outline of the treaty 4th anniversary. The signing of this important treaty and its affiliated documents is a major event in the development of the SCO. On one hand，this important document establishes the norms of the relationship between the members，which will protect the good relations among the members by law. On the other hand，the Chinese diplomatic thought of “Be good with neighbours and take neighbors as partners” has been extended to the level of the relationship of SCO member countries，so that it has been widely recognized and supported. With the completion of the first absorption of new member by the SCO，the understanding and implementation of the treaty has a more realistic need. Today，the process of globalization has encountered difficulties in the world，and the economic and security environment of the Eurasian region has also been affected by varying degrees. Although the SCO extended to the South Asian and India Oceans has greater activity space，the organization's internal relations are facing grinding and adjustment under the premise of adding new members. In such a period of internal and external changes and interweaving，the treaty still has important guiding significance for member states to build new relations.
