Abstract:Gongzhuling is one of the country' pilot cities of small-medium size，the development of Gongzhuling is full of vitalityin recent years.The comprehensive economic competitive power is excellent，ranking second in Jilin Province. Especially，the comprehensive incremental competitive power is so prominent that it is at the top of the list.However，on the contrary，the ranking of sustainable competitive power is at the end of the index system. The competitive powers of culture and information are promoted to the medium level.But the competitive powers of knowledge and harmony are still at the bottom level.The work of urban construction is still arduous. Now，we should make full use of the advantages of location，industry and transportation. To build an open and cooperative pattern，achieve industrial transformation and promotion，accelerate innovation driven，invest in education and technology，and improve the social security system.
