Abstract:This paper analyzed the urban competitiveness index and the annual ranking of TongHua，to pinpoint problems and predict future trends. This paper pointed out the main problems of urban competitiveness of TongHua：The annual ranking of economic competitiveness and sustainable competitiveness slipped. Historical and cultural resources were not translated into the competitiveness. The public services had restricted the livability competitiveness. Looking to the future，the development of wellness will enhance the economic competitiveness and the investment to the public services and the improvement of the ecological environment will promote the livability competitiveness.
