Abstract:Homeschooling developed rapidly in recent years in China.The organization form of homeschooling in China includes parent orientation，family mutual help orientation，and parent involvement orientation.The main reason of homeschooling lies in the dissatisfaction of parents with school education and the inadaptation of child in school environment.Generally，the practice of homeschooling lay emphasis on the cultivation of moral character，while the acquisition of knowledge and knowledge structure is secondary.According the character of education practice，homeschooling in China could be divided into several types，including school orientation，unschooling orientation，Chinese traditional cultural orientation and speciality and special needs orientation.On the whole，homeschooling parents are satisfied with the effects of homeschooling，while the general public are worried about the the socialization of homeschooled students.The stance of child should be taken into consideration to deal with homeschooling to promote the healthy development of child and achieve their best interests.Diversity exploration in the field of education should be encouraged and supported while measures should be adopted to ensure the education quality.
