从“衡中模式”透视我国的“超级中学”现象

Abstract:For many years，Hengshui High School has built up a myth around itself through its graduates' high acceptance rate by the top two universities in China，Peking University and Tsinghua University. With its “Hengshui High School Model” being widely sought-after，the school has been expanding and opening new schools nationwide. Aiming to create “mega high schools”，the “Hengshui High School Model” is extremely exam-oriented. It selects only the top-performing students，blurs the line between the public and the private in education，and makes students go through harsh training. Through a detailed analysis of the Model，this article advocates the value of quality education over exam-oriented education with the aim of cultivating talents for the future.
