Abstract:After decades of development，the education of the Evenki ethnic group has formed a complete system from pre-school to secondary education and from general to occupational education.Schools in this area focus on imparting and developing ethnic culture and give support by way of policies，teachers，and courses to guarantee the building of ethnic schools.However，problems remain such as teacher shortages，the insufficient policy guidance，problems in using ethnic language and the poor prospects for imparting culture.It is necessary to support teacher supply with effective policy and understand the unique needs of running ethnic schools，and in this way implement the bilingual teaching model for Mongolian and Evenki.
