老挝与“一带一路”倡议：现状、问题和对策

Abstract:The introduction of “the Belt and Road” initiative has aroused strong repercussions in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world. Laos，as a traditional friendly country of China，shares many common interests with China，and has always appreciated and welcomed “the Belt and Road” initiative. This paper found that Laos’s government showed a positive attitude towards “the Belt and Road” initiative while the enthusiasm of the people needed to be excavated. How-ever，with the development of the “Five Focuses” and numerous projects under “the Belt and Road” initiative，the cooperation between China and Laos is deepening. The problems existing between the two countries include，the poor policy coordination，the incongruous interconnection standard and the lower level of financial integration. Therefore，we suggest to strengthen the strategic mutual trust，broaden the financing channels and promote human communication. On the whole，the positive cooperation between China and Laos has created a good example for China to carry out “the Belt and Road” along the other countries.
