Abstract:China and Brazil are both major developing countries. Though far away from each other，the two countries have maintained strong partnership. The China-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership has developed rapidly in recent years. Political mutual trust has deepened and pragmatic bilateral cooperation has produced fruitful results. The cooperation in science and technology has been productive，becoming an increasingly important part of the bilateral ties. The report gives an account of the status quo of science，technology and innovation（STI）in Brazil，including its national STI innovation strategy，innovation and entrepreneurship policies，R&D inputs and outputs，S&T personnel，technology transfer system and progress in priority areas. The report also touches upon bilateral cooperation in STI，including case studies，challenges，barriers and suggestions.
