韩儒退溪以图论易管窥——以《天命图说》与《圣学十图》为中心

Abstract:Toegye （Yi Hwang，1501-1570），a leading Confucian scholar on the early studies on nature and principle （xinglixue，性理学） in Chosun Korea，had had an important influence on the successive quadrocentennial development of xinglixuein Korea.This article focuses on Toegye's studies on I Ching（yixue，易学，studies on the Book of Changes ），for purpose of tracing the origin of yixuein Chosun Korea.It attempts to study the Korean yixuethrough a Chinese approach，which differs from its Korean counterpart in that the latter in general approaches yixuefrom a philosophical point of view.This paper is centred on Toegye's two leading works，namely Diagrams on the Mandate of Heavenand Ten Diagrams on SageLearning，from which can be seen the importance of using diagrams to interpret I Chingin the Toegye yixue .Toegye also inherited pictology （tushuxue，图书学） from Shao Yan and Zhu Xi，as well as Zhou Dunyi's Diagrams of Taiji .
