从关联理论解析大学英语课堂教学

文章摘要:语言课堂教学既是一个语言交际过程,也是一个语言认知过程。大学英语课堂教学实质上就是教师与学生之间的交际互动。关联理论以交际和认知为核心,其交际观、认知语境和关联的概念,对大学英语课堂教学具有重大的指导意义。大学英语课堂教学实质上就是师生以认知为基础,以交际为目的,进而达到信息在双方认知语境中的最佳关联。对大学英语课堂教学的实例分析表明,我们应当从教学内容与学生认知语境的关联度出发进行设计和创新。

Abstract:Language teaching is both a communicative and cognitive process. College English class teaching is essentially a communicative interaction between teachers and students. Based on communication and cognition,Relevance Theory,with its concepts of communicative view,cognitive context and Relevance,has an effective guidance for college English class teaching. College English classroom teaching is essentially,based on cognition,with the purpose of communication,to pursue the optimal relevance of the information in mutual cognitive context. Example analyses of college English classroom teaching show that the teaching design and innovation should be carried out from the relationship between teaching content and students’ cognitive context.
