广东对外开放程度、科技发展与制造业转型研究

Abstract:Since the financial crisis in 2008，with the implementation of the “re-industrialization” and layout of the high-end production services in Europe and the United States，the international scientific and technological competition has developed toward a new trend. Faced with the grim situation at home and abroad，the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector in Guangdong is imminent. In view of this，this paper puts forward how to promote the economic development of Guangdong in the future based on the analysis of the relationship between the degree of opening up，the development of science and technology and the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry. The analysis shows that Guangdong’s economic development is facing a serious situation of foreign trade，weak foreign investment growth，unbalanced development of science and technology，slowly growing of industrial added value，non-coordinated industrial development among regions，and other issues. To solve these problems，this paper uses the Grainger causality test to analyze the relationship between various aspects，and puts forward some reasonable policy recommendations.
