Abstract:In March 2016,an article published on the British journalNature pointed out on its official website that influenced by two factors economy and technology,the “Moore’s Law” would come to an end;later Intel of the US also announced that it was no longer able to continue to follow the “Moore’s Law”,and the renewal period for feature size node had changed from two years to three years. After giving up the “Moore’s Law”,the global semi-conductor industry will develop in four directions,namely,3D encapsulation and integration,system level integration,replaceable silicon new materials,quantum computation and neural computation. China should grasp the development opportunities unique to the emerging industrial fields such as Internet of things,focus on tackling technical difficulties based on the existing technical foundation and advantaged fields,thereby keeping in pace with or even surpassing the global semi-conductor industry.
