中国对欧盟直接投资：特征、动因与趋势

Abstract:in recent years，the “leap” development of China direct investment in the EU has become the “bright spots” and the “new growth point” of China EU relations. This is not short-term hunters “behavior” based on debt crisis，but it is the internal development needs of “extended value chain” to China enterprise，and is a long-term investment behavior. After decades of development and accumulation，with the enhancement of their own strength，many enterprises have the power to rise to both ends of smile curve. At the same time，with the domestic industrial structure adjustment and the consequent increasing pressure of China industrial upgrading，the foreign direct investment of many China enterprises will turn to the developed economies，such as the EU，and hope to enter the upstream value chain with high added value and establish sales network under their own control. From the perspective of “extended value chain”，it is not difficult to understand why China enterprises will direct invest in developed economies such as the EU，and prefer modern service industry and manufacturing industry with no competitive advantage. Direct investment is becoming a new engine for the development of China-EU relations.
