Abstract:This paper explored the current situation of financial cooperation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the new progress in recent two years. “Member expansion” and “existing financing platform construction” became the most noteworthy new situation of financial cooperation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in recent two years. Shanghai Cooperation Organization still faces many challenges in the field of financial cooperation. As the most important driving force of financial cooperation in the SCO，China should give full play to the favorable conditions and the historical opportunity brought about by the construction of the construction of “the Belt and Road Initiatives”，combine with the successful experience of ADB and BRIC，grasp the direction of internationalization of RMB and promote further development of financial cooperation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
