我国增强在北极区域实质性存在的必要性与可行性

Abstract:As a subarctic country，China is closely related to Arctic in politics，economy，society and environmental protection. This article demonstrates the importance that the Arctic shows to China from the aspects of shipping，resource，energy and ecological environment. It could explain the reason why we should strengthen China’s substantial participation in Arctic regions. Furthermore，the current international law and governance mechanism and China’s scientific research achievements will strongly prove the feasibility of China’s substantial participation in Arctic regions. At last，based on the international governance and China’s national condition，we come up several suggestions for China to take part in Arctic issues.
