东南亚华侨华人推动建设21世纪海上丝绸之路的潜力探析

Abstract:The construction of the Silk Road economic belt and the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st century，are two parts of the whole of the international and domestic situations and major strategic decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The building of the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st century has an important strategic significance and the ability to promote win-win cooperation with relevant countries in our country in prosperity. Because Southeast Asian nations are located on intersections and passages of the Maritime Silk Road，they will be the important cooperation partners in its reconstruction in the 21st century. On the other side，Southeast Asia has a great number of overseas and ethnic Chinese important traditional settlements. Overseas Chinese movements to southeast Asia have a long history and have led to a large number of overseas Chinese in these area. These overseas Chinese have solid financial strength，mature marketing networks，extensive business connections，relatively strong Chinese language and culture education and communication platforms，and have unique financing advantages both at home and abroad，and as such are an important force for the construction of power in all ways. Thus，the Southeast Asian overseas Chinese have unique potential and advantages，and can play an invaluable role in the Maritime Silk Road of 21st century.
