Abstract:The overall situation of the Pacific island countries remains steady in 2015，but local problems still exist. In politics，general elections are held，and elections are generally smooth. In diplomacy，countries outside the region adjust the policy to the Pacific island countries step by step，and augment cooperation with them. Economy of Pacific island countries has enjoyed fast yet steady growth this year，but Economies of Pacific island countries are vulnerable and more reliant on foreign aid. In the social aspect，the Pacific island countries are suffering from some severe social problems besides climate change.
