Abstract:The theory of Civilization Exchange put forward by Peng Shuzhi is an important theory of historic studies. In the perspective of Civilization Exchange，the following problems are quite important for the studies of Central Asian history：the influence of the geographical conditions and climate on the origin and development of local civilization；the features and interaction of different civilizations in Central Asia；the change of political civilization of Central Asia；the relations between and historical change of agricultural and nomadic civilizations in Central Asia；the interrelations between states，national groups and cultures in Central Asia；the basic pattern of civilization exchange between Central Asia and other areas，originating from its geographical location and development level；the influence of the foreign conquests on the development of civilization in Central Asia；the leaping development of Central Asian civilization；the role of wars in the civilization exchange in Central Asia；the routes of the civilization exchange in Central Asia and their influence；the influence of repeated clashes between agricultural and nomadic civilizations in Central Asia；the periodicity of history of Central Asia；and the transition of Central Asia in the modern times.
