Abstract:This paper discusses the theoretical and practical significances of the studies of overseas Chinese in the Middle East. It looks back the academic history and current situation of the researches in China on overseas Chinese in the Middle East，and summarizes various reasons why Chinese people emigrated to the Middle East. According to internet and document sources，this paper indicates the number of overseas Chinese in the Middle East，sums up their ethnic compositions and employment traits，and puts forward the measures，trains of thought，difficult points and focal points in studying it.
