泰国佛教发展进程与现状

Abstract:Buddhism has played a crucial role in Thailand. Without understanding Buddhism，it is almost impossible to understand Thailand. This paper summarizes Thailand has experienced the process of popularization and politicization of Buddhism，the development of Buddhism education as well as Buddhism arts for more than 2000 years since the Buddhism was introduced to Thailand in the 2ndcentury BC，thus making the Buddhism full integration into the Thai people’s material，spiritual and cultural life. It also comments on the major events of the Thai Buddhist circles in 2015 so as to gain insight into the current status of Thai Buddhism and its challenges.
