Abstract:Due to the cause of many economic and social problems and subject to various criticisms, the 20 century 80 ~ 1990s African countries generally implement economic structural adjustment programs in the 1990s later gradually disappeared, instead is to poverty reduction, poverty alleviation for the names of the economic development strategy and policy. These new economic development strategy and policy of crude seems to be the decision-making of the African countries and the self selection of the new development strategy and policy, but with the fine and would study we can found them have no essential difference with the original economic structure adjustment plan. In other words, nearly 10 years, African countries in implementing the economic development strategy and policy basically is the continuation or replica of the economic structural adjustment programmes. In this regard, foreign scholars have made a similar point of view, but there are few special articles for a systematic exposition. This paper is divided into two parts to demonstrate this problem, and to do a preliminary analysis on the basis of the demonstration on the future economic development strategy and policy of Africa's optional space.
