Abstract:During implementation in the first two years，“Abenomics” depended on the first and second arrows to generate economic impact. Due to three miscalculations，namely the large unexpected influence of sales tax increase，wage fell behind inflation，the marginal effect of yen depreciation on exports，Japan’s economy deteriorated significantly since 2014. In discussing the importance of the third arrow of “Abenomics”，growth strategy，this paper highlights five areas for its implementation：reduction of enterprises’ effective income tax rate，“fortress” regulation reform in national strategic zone，continual wage raise and labor market reform，promotion of regional economic cooperation agreements and agricultural reform，and “Abenomics” with regional characteristics.
