全球粮食危机评述

Abstract:Since 2007，the world food prices have kept rising and reached its historic level in the first half of 2008.The soaring food prices led to serious food shortages in many parts of the world where food crisis has caused unstable political situation.To deal with such food crisis，most countries have adopted urgent measures to safeguard their food security，and the international organizations also give aids to the poor countries.Meanwhile，the international community has a heated debate on the roots of global food crisis.The developed countries blamed the developing countries for the rising food prices while the developing world attributed the use of biofuels and the neo-liberal reforms to their sufferings，which among all factors are certainly two major driving forces of the soaring food crisis.
