“占领华尔街”运动折射资本主义世界体系矛盾与危机

Abstract:“Occupy Wall Street” movement has its inevitability as viewed from the domestic and international background. The movement reflects the contradictions and crisis of the capitalist world system from the three levels of capital accumulation，political legitimacy and capitalist civilization and geo-cultural. That is，the capitalist world system plunged into the plight of accumulation of capital，and the drawbacks of the way of capitalist accumulation became increasingly apparent；lapsed into the plight of political legitimacy，and capitalist means of self-regulation gradually failed；fell into a capitalist civilization crisis and the plight of the geo-cultural，so aura of the spirit of capitalism is gradually fading. If the capitalist system still works in accordance with the current mode，the “butterfly effect” of the protest movement will develop into a large earthquake to shake the social system.
