Abstract:In the 20 years after the end of the Cold War，hot spots around the world are almost always associated with the “Islamism political awakening”. In view of the United States，for the same violence of radical Islam，when resisting the United States，it was named “terrorism”；when resisting countries such as China and Russia，it was named “freedom fighter”. American strategy in the Middle East began at the end of the Bush era. In order to confront Iran，the United States decided to expand the Shia and Sunni sectarian conflict between Muslims，and with Al Qaeda as the representative of the Sunni extremist groups will get the support from the United States. After Obama came to power，the policy was further deepened and implemented. In 2011 the United States created the “Libya model ”，the cooperation of the United States and Al Qaeda overthrow those anti-American regime. All signs indicate that，the “terrorist fire” reined by the United States will spread to China’s Xinjiang，becoming more intense as it moves from West to East.
