东亚次区域合作的现状与前景

Abstract:East Asian sub-regional cooperation such as the Greater Mekong regional cooperation，Tumen River regional cooperation，and the Pan Beibu Gulf cooperation，is developing faster in recent years，. The rapid development of three sub-regional cooperation depends very much on the improvement in the regional political environment，increasingly close economic ties among sub-regions，as well as the increasing economic strength of Chinese growth. In the future，three sub-regional cooperation will transform from Government-driven to the mix of government-driven and market-driven，from the simple resource-based cooperation to the mixed model of both resource-based and industrially shifting co-operation. Finally，this paper also suggests that China should actively make use of the three sub-regional cooperation to learn how to lead sub-regional cooperation to be prepared for leading East-Asian cooperation.
