Abstract:In the period 2003-2013，the relations between China and the Nordic countries have generally maintained a sound momentum. Bilateral cooperation has been constantly enhanced in the fields of political dialogue，trade and economics，R&D，environmental protection，culture and education. In addition，the exchanges and cooperation at all levels and between various regions have also been strengthened. In the same time，the number of permanent institutions has grown and cooperation mechanisms have been deepened. However，discussions on democracy and human rights in the Nordic countries have directly influenced the smooth development of the relations between them and China.
