Abstract:The Gulf Arab countries are important sources of China’s oil and gas imports，and China is the main energy market of the Gulf Arab states. From 2019 to 2020，Bilateral energy trade has maintained a stable development trend，and a number of energy cooperation agreements and projects have been signed. Bilateral energy cooperation is characterized by multi-dimensional expansion of cooperation fields and diversification of cooperation patterns. For a long time，The energy cooperation between China and the Gulf Arab States will face direct challenges，such as the continuously turbulent regional situation and the interference of the United States and other major powers outside the region. The only way to build a sustainable，secure，mutually beneficial and win-win energy cooperation between China and the Gulf Arab states is to continue to strengthen bilateral dialogue mechanisms and platforms，enhance innovation cooperation in the field of renewable energy，strength the political and cultural exchanges，and seize the opportunities.
