Abstract:Under the influence of many issues，such as the COVID-19，economy，climate and environment，Australia was once again experiencing a political succession after nine years，and its domestic politics were becoming more diverse. With the return of the Labor government，Australia’s foreign policy have also undergone some adjustments. On the one hand，it have continued to optimize its strategic layout with traditional allies such as the United States in the “Indo-Pacific region”；on the other hand，it have eased the relations between China and Australia after years of tension and opposition，and gradually resumed normal interaction between the two countries. However，even though the foreign trade continued to grow during the COVID-19，Australia was also facing huge economic pressure. The rising international energy and raw materials have aggravated the domestic inflation crisis. The countermeasures proposed by the government have not achieved significant results，and all sectors of society were still not optimistic about the future economic prospects.
