Abstract:Recognizing the new situation of the construction of the Qingdao characteristic town，this is evident from the characteristic town of the West Coast New District. This article summarizes eight aspects of construction path and successful experience which the small towns closely revolve around their own characteristic commerce，location and resources superiority，mutually complement and reliance to avoid the homogeneity competition and estate trap，to occupy the high point of nostalgia culture economy to make a great improvement in Business Culture Tourism. At the same time，the paper analyses the shortage in the construction upsurge，which is the fundamentally issue of unbalance and insufficient. And the paper puts forward the countermeasure and suggestion，i.e. establishing a new concept of rural revitalization，nostalgia culture economy，people center and integration of urban and rural areas. The integration view of urban and rural areas requires abandoning the close mind，opening town and street，forming the whole-area tourism，building the open and characteristic towns.
