Abstract:In the context of the epidemic，the Russian-Ukrainian conflict，and Western sanctions，Russia’s digital economy has encountered many bottlenecks. Despite partial progress in 2022，the future of Russia’s digital economy remains uncertain with the intensification of sanctions from western countries，the withdrawal of advanced technology companies from the Russian market，and fiscal tightening. This paper analyzes the development of Russia’s digital economy and its prospects in four directions：the development of Russia’s domestic digital economy，its changing position in international rankings，existing problems and development prospects，taking into account relevant data from Russia and international organizations.
