Abstract:Based on the Web 3.0 technology system and operation mechanism，the metaverse takes data as the core production factor，and relies on the authenticated digital identity system for orderly operation to realize large-scaleoperation of economic value. Blockchain，due to its decentralized，tamper proof，and transparent technical features，can effectively build a trusted digital value interaction network and promote the formation of a new metaverse digital ecosystem centered on Web 3.0. This chapter first introduces the basic situation of blockchain and metaverse technology，elaborates the supporting role of blockchain in the metaverse from key enabling technologies，maximizing data value，and building a digital eco-system. It sorts out the Web 3.0 digital new eco-system centered on blockchain technology，in order to promote further research，innovation，and development of using blockchain in the metaverse in the future.
