Abstract:Digital government is an important component of the construction of Digital China，It is also an important driving force for the coordinated development of the digital economy and digital society. The construction of digital government has become an important engine for promoting the transformation of government functions，and a focus and breakthrough point for promoting the modernization of government governance system and governance capabilities. This paper analyzes and judges the current situation and trend of China’s digital government construction from the aspects of top-level design，era background，development achievements，problems，countermeasures and suggestions of digital government construction，analyzes and discusses the opportunities and challenges faced by digital government construction in the context of the digital era，and makes suggestions around the key links of digital government construction，empowers the government to improve its governance ability，and promotes the construction of Chinese path to modernization.
